Snohomish Nazarene

The Garden of Hope

The Garden of Hope is a community project that provides opportunities to grow produce for those who don’t have the ability to do so, especially those in apartments and townhomes, such as those which border the grounds.

The Garden of Hope strives to be a conduit for community connectedness through relationship building, promoting healthful living, helping our neighbors, and inspiring personal growth.

The Garden of Hope’s key success factors are core values that embody its existence. These include:

  1. The Garden of Hope builds community peace by being an inviting and welcoming community gathering place.
  2. The Garden of Hope promotes healthful living.
  3. The Garden of Hope is an educational environment.
  4. The Garden of Hope provides an opportunity for people to bear the Lord’s fruit.

Celebrate Recovery Snohomish

Snohomish Nazarene has regularly hosted an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in their building on Monday's at 6 PM.

Recently they launched Celebrate Recovery as well. Two couples from the church were recently trained at the Celebrate Recovery One-Day Training in Portland, Oregon.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program with foundations firmly established in Biblical truth. The 12 Steps with accompanying Scriptures and the 8 Principles based on the Beatitudes offer participants a clear path of salvation and discipleship; bringing hope, freedom, sobriety, healing, and the opportunity to give back one day at a time through our one and only true Higher Power, Jesus Christ.  The 12 Steps and the 8 Principles work seamlessly together, tying historical recovery to timeless Biblical teaching.

Celebrate Recovery meets on Sunday Evenings at 5 PM for dinner (cost is $4/individual $10/family) 6 PM for the Large group meeting and 7 PM for the small group meeting.
