Monthly Hygiene Bank

In the winter of 2014, Life Community Church started a monthly hygiene bank where families of need can come and get everything from laundry soap, toothpaste, cleaning supplies, and other hygiene needs that food stamps or other help programs do not supply.

The bank is open every first Tuesday evening of the month at 6:30 PM at the Church.

A part of their vision statement is Impact. They desire to impact their community and world by serving others in the name of Jesus Christ.

Pack n’ Mac:

Back packs full of school supplies and Macaroni and Cheese for kids in need in our community.

Holiday Food Baskets:

Boxes of food for families in need in our community. Thanksgiving and Christmas meals with all the trimmings.

Holiday Gifts:

At Christmas we provide assistance, food and gifts for families that would otherwise go without.

Food Pantry:

This informal food bank acts as a bridge for people who need a helping hand with food.

Tent City:

Tent City is a temporary encampment of homeless adults that moves to a different location on the Eastside approximately every 90 days. Life Community provides a hot meal to the 100 residents of Tent City monthly.

Partnership with Lakeview Elementary School

Pantry Packs:

“packs” of food for children who receive free hot lunches during the school week but may have empty cupboards over the weekend.

School Supplies:

Every year there are kids that begin the school year without supplies. Life Community Church helps bridge that gap by providing boxes of school supplies for the students.

Teachers Appreciation Luncheons:

They know a school is only as good as its teachers so they take time to appreciate and support the teachers with luncheons and physical help.
