Kirkland Chinese Church

Partnering with World Relief to Visit Detainees

Our Executive Director, Margaret Scott and our Immigrant and Refugee's area focus leader Sarah Emerson had the opportunity to meet with Pastor Thomas Law who leads our Kirkland Chinese Church.

We are inspired by what God is doing through this local congregation. Through a program of World Relief Seattle several of the members visit the Tacoma Immigrant Detention Center weekly to bring encouragement and hope.

Also last Christmas Eve they went caroling in Seattle's Chinatown. As a congregation they are asking what it means for them to be missional and to reach their neighbors with the love of Jesus.

Cross Cultural Compassion

What joy it was to hear Pastor Thomas Law share about his regular prayer & Bible meetings with Indonesian restaurant works in Chinese restaurants. He doesn't speak their language so is translated but he knows their hearts.

Praise the Lord! One of the Indonesian restaurant workers fellowship goer got baptized on 12/21/2016.
